Assam Bangiya Jyotish & Tantra Society is a Kolkata-based institution offering Vedic astrology consultations, Tantra guidance and Vastu Shastra services, alongside structured astrology courses for students of all levels.
An educational association, first and foremost
ABJTS was founded on a simple premise: that Jyotish, Tantra and Vastu Shastra are structured, learnable sciences — not vague superstition — and deserve to be taught and practised with the same rigour as any other classical discipline.
We run two parallel tracks side by side. The first is direct consultation — for individuals seeking clarity on a Kundli Dosh, a compatibility question, a Vastu correction, or guidance through Tantra sadhana. The second is education — workshops, seminars, classes and online courses for students who want to study astrology from the ground up.
Every consultation and every lesson draws from the same classical sources: the positions of the Sun, Moon and planets; the twelve houses of life; the aspects between planets; and the dasha periods that govern timing. Nothing is generic — interpretation always begins with your specific birth chart or space.

How a first visit or class typically goes
Whether you're consulting us or joining as a student, the same disciplined approach applies from the very first meeting.
For a consultation
You share your birth details (or your space's layout, for Vastu) by call, WhatsApp or in person. Your Kundli or space is studied against classical principles, findings are explained plainly, and practical remedial guidance follows — in a single, unhurried session.
For a course
Classes begin with foundational concepts — signs, planets, houses and aspects — and progress toward reading real charts under guidance. Pace and format are discussed with each student directly during admission.

About the Society
Is Assam Bangiya Jyotish & Tantra Society a religious organisation?
No. We are an educational association focused on teaching and practising Vedic astrology, Tantra and Vastu Shastra as structured, learnable sciences — consultation and education are our core activities.
Do you only serve people in Kolkata?
While our premises are in Naihati, Kolkata, consultations can also be arranged over phone and WhatsApp for those who cannot visit in person.
Can I study with you if I have never learned astrology before?
Yes — our courses are structured to begin with foundational concepts (zodiac signs, planets, houses and aspects) before moving to advanced chart interpretation, so no prior knowledge is assumed.
What is the difference between consultation and the courses you offer?
Consultation is a one-to-one reading or correction for your own chart or space. The courses teach you to read and interpret charts yourself, through structured classes rather than a single session.
